| If you really want to break down stalks, run Devastators on the cornhead. Overall the least expensive option to achieve your goal. We’ve rolled before and after planting, and I prefer before, never once had a rock get wedged in the gauge wheel arm with this practice. We spend a couple weeks running around picking rocks, but those fist sized ones are the ones that slow the combine down by knocking out sections/guards. | |
