Subject: RE: How many bottom can your Chevy pull

West of Mpls MN about 50 miles on Hwy 12
Sand or clay? Hills or level ground?

We ran a 1966 International Scout 800A pulling a side delivery rake raking cornstalks into the furrow so the plow wouldn't plug one fall. I also spread quite a bit of fertilizer with my 1968 Ford 3/4 highboy pulling a Tyler fertilizer buggy powered by a Kohler motor back in the early 80s...that was pretty fun and I could cover a lot of ground in a short time. I have spayed a lot of acres with a 1984 6.9 diesel powered F-250.

Vehicles of the 60s, 70s and 80s didn't last very long in MN. Short trips in the winter were very hard on engines and body panels.
