Might see one of them own the machinery and custom harvest for the rest, but the chance of mutual ownership and working together as a group, at any significant scale, is zero.

Just doesn’t work with how people view/trust their neighbors today, and the dollar values in play/at risk.



100% agree. aside from the trust issues, around here the amount of days for harvest can be very limited, mother nature doesn't always cooperate. It usually takes me 75-100% of the "good" days to finish my crops, could not imagine waiting for your turn, or having someone waiting on you either.
