Bought this old girl about 3 years ago for a few hundred bucks. I can't imagine how much suck it would have to be to spray in a cornfield with no AC and a 350 under the hood that's almost as hot as the sun. I was told when I bought it that there was a photo of it running around in a cornfield with the hood off because it would get so hot. Inside of the door on the drivers side has stickers from at least one engine and two trans replacements. Field work sure is hard on these old girls.
Going from a 103 spray coupe 60’ booms and a 125-150 gallon tank to a 1987 3/4 ton(no ac) and a 500 gallon 90 foot NYB sprayer was no SUCK at all it was a gift from heaven;)….Never had to take the hood off, but in soft wet fields we ran tire chains on the rear…transfer case low lock,2nd on the auto, the 6.2 would haze pretty heavy through the water areas.lol. Used it 10 years rebuilt one transmission.
