We've ran vaccum planters since '01, had one fan motor go bad and two hydraulic couplers, compared to the maintenance needed to keep finger pickup meters in their prime that's pretty minor.
But but but... I bet the hydraulic issues were during planting. Finger pickup maintenance usually can be done in the off season when you are not planting. Lol
