4 mph? It is possible to drive too slow with the FPU meters. Especially with large seed.
He stated planting 34000. Not sure the ideal speed for his pop. We are at 24 to 28 pop at 4.5 mph optimum speed.
I've always felt the slower the better for my conditions even if it was vac or finger pickup. More along the lines of notill into NH3 berms at an angle and minimizing row unit bounce.
