| x fold booms or front fold?
Weve had both, the x fold worked ok for the short time we had it, but it was only 60 ft. we had one with 100 ft front fold booms and had trouble with the hinge area where it folds forward. we had to take it a part and replace some parts a couple of times, which was a royal pain. the booms also tended to flop back and forth a lot when turning around, maybe why we had to replace parts. the spring tension wasnt enough to keep them flopping back and forth.
The sumps on the 2 we had werent designed well. when you got below 100 gal and turned around on the end the chem solution would slosh out of the sump, and you would loose prime.
If you can find a Top Air instead, we had 2 and they were much better sprayers.
