Did it happen to say a country of origin on it anywhere? Not sure where Dexter is even made nowadays, but if course one would hope for north American of some sort.
So the Carter was welded all the way around? I assume this is risking cracks after enough years of fatigue?
Where did you buy your axle? The place I mentioned seems to have decent reviews years ago, but lots of bad reviews recently, though most are concerning shipping times.
