northeastern Ohio | My sister in law works in the repo department at a small town bank. Just talked to her on Sunday and she said that repossessions are up dramatically over the past few months and they had to hire two more people to help her. Some people are actually turning over the cars/trucks because they know they can't make the next payment!!!!
She has had this job for 15 years and this is the worst it has been.
As far as discounts on new trucks, the manufacturers know that inventory is climbing and they will cut production before they cut prices any more. Jeep has rolled back MSRP on a lot of their models for 2025 (Gladiators and Grand Cherokees), so that will mean there is less chance on discounts on those models. | |
