 Pittsburg, Kansas | What I gather from what I have learned over the last several years is that short bursts of high intensity (muscles taken to failure) is a lot more health promoting from a time spent at exercise point of view. Heavy loads on muscles help an older person not have muscle weakness develop nearly as fast as with inactivity.
One big reason for old people falls is loss of muscle strength. I know I am not nearly as strong as I used to be. Trying to keep from getting worse. | |
