Subject: RE: Sprinting - 1% of people over 40 will ever sprint again

Pittsburg, Kansas
I am currently 70, soon to be 71.

Six years ago and 80 pounds heavier than I am right now I could not have sprinted 100 feet.

I am guessing to about 80. I suspect I will be at a slower sprint at 80 than at 70. But based on my dad's health at that age and what I now know, I think I possibly may make it that long and still be able to run at a sprint level. If I keep it up like I should.

If I get lazy and sedentary, probably not. I'm still riding dirt bike motorcycles and scuba diving, so I hope I keep being active.

Had I not changed what I eat six years ago, I would already be mostly sedentary and rapidly deteriating health. I have both friends and relation that have not changed the way they eat and I have them as good example of where I would now be had I not made the change. They are for sure not sprinting. Getting body parts cut off and laser treatment for eye bleeders. No thanks.
