Central Illinois | Alberta Pioneer, Men today have been shown a male life model which is far from what God intends each of us to have. God made man and woman. He made them male and female in His image. We were made to take part in God's creation. This means a man is to leave his father and mother to marry a woman in Holy matrimony. In this union the man and woman become 1 flesh to join God in His creation by conceiving a child. This is only the beginning of the life God intends us to have. As husband and wife this union is to bring up children to know, have life and a relationship with God. He has given life to us through His Word, His Son Jesus. I say this because most of us men have failed to understand God's word and the plans He has for us. The condition of today's men is due to our sin and lacking knowledge of God. Separated from God's presence and not taught or not following His Holy scripture, we don't have the basic understanding of His plan for our lives. When we confess our sins, declare the need for redemption, believe Jesus is the Christ and are baptized as our savior Jesus, then we receive the Holy Spirit to guide and direct us. The Spirit fills us and we hunger and thirst for the knowledge of God and the grace provided through Jesus. When we are filled, the Word will flow from us to teach our children God's Word.
The answers you seek are found in the Holy Bible the Word of God. Bible study is essential for knowledge of God. I have used a Bible study app called Verse by Verse ministries by Pastor Stephen Armstrong. The recordings of Stephen have been helpful to me in my Bible study. Stephen Armstrong died but other pastors have continued the work.
As more men and women learn the Word of God a change will be seen in each of them. This change will be noticed by others. God is calling His children to come to Him. | |
