Michigan | Parallel arms are not the right application for a bearing.
The problem with OEM parallel arms is that the arms are very soft and wear. Replacing the stock bushing doesn't tighten things back up once the arms get worn. A system that put a bushing the arm that wears on another bushing is the best engineering practice. In a perfect world, one bushing would be softer than the other so when it gets some wear we'd only have to replace one bushing but I don't think anyone is offering something like that.
