Revenue Wind and hail used to be a great tool.
Premiums got way out there a few yrs back.
I now always run cash wind and hail on the corn.
If I remember right, it was around $3.5/ acre per $100.
I always run $200-300 on the corn.
I usually do the same on beans.
Pretty cheap piece of mind when every black cloud rolls up.
Edit- Plus you get the harvest extra payout if you need to go slow to get it all
