NW IL, Mercer County | Buying from a retailer, they usually do a stair stepped approach from prepay to inseason pricing. Most of them that I have priced don’t typically publish all those prices together so it’s a guessing game. But typically the price goes up the closer you get to the season. They usually have what they figure they will need already bought and base pricing off of that. Not necessarily what the market is doing.
That being said, I usually prepay for my fall NH3 and spring UAN when those prices first come out, because most of the time its the cheapest price. | |
