Sounds like chronic wasting disease. We had a deer that essentially stood in the same spot for two days then started walking in a tight circle. Neighbor went up to it and pushed it over. It just lay there for 15-20 minutes before it stood back up. Walked off. Game warden said it was probably chronic wasting. That was several years ago.
Weird.
