North Central MN. Wolf Lake | For starts my colon resection / surgery was pretty extreme.
40 plus staples to close my abdomen.
They removed about 1/2 upper colon, appendix, some small intestine, 1 kidney, 50 lymph nodes, and some abdominal wall.
1 week in the hospital.
After 2 weeks at home I could start to take care of myself.
I have not been regular since.
Do not know what I could have done differently, would be here if not for the surgery.
Was stage 4 cancer.
Been clear since. 5 years next month.
Edit to add, I contracted C-Diff a few months later that was pure misery almost "just shoot me now" misery.
