East Central South Dakota | Yea you are right, the new high dollar stuff is losing some value, but there are some exceptions also. Bought a 2000 t-800 in 2009 with a pup for $75,000. Sold it in November of 2024 for $72,000. Used it 15 years for $3000. Inflation has helped some items hold their value. Just really depends on if the item is still useful and not obsolete. Off topic, but if I needed some machinery, I would be a buyer now. Manufacturing is being idled back and there are some good deals out there on some newer high dollar stuff to get inventory under control. Once they are comfortable with inventories the price will stabilize. |
