NCKS | Do you already have automatic half width shutoff? Just that would probably get you half or more of the savings at 40 ft. If you don't have GPS turning your planter on and off, you're losing money no matter what your fields are like. I do know our 36ft air-seeder on a 200acre not square at all field would drill about 215-218 acres. Our 60ft planters with row command usually run 199.5-199.8. So that's 7.5%. Square fields probably closer to 1%.
