| So, after replacements do you feel you gained full range of motion back? I tore my rotator cuff up; Doc went in thinking a repair. He woke me up and said he cleaned arthritis up and said it was too far tore I needed a replacement. I was still half under anesthesia my wife was there telling me I needed it replaced. I cussed and told Doc I was using it when I came in, but had pain and couldn't sleep at nights.
So, he then said, well we can try a cadaver graft. I said I'm game for it. Three days later put a graft in it. I got along good in rehab; the only thing is I lost some range of motion in putting my arm and hand behind me. But took all pain away, and feel I got most all my strength back. I just keep thinking if I would have had a joint replacement would I've have gotten my range of motion back? Just wondering all this time. | |
