I'd agree with Greg K, above.

Personally, I'd not worry about putting a 14 gauge on a 20A breaker, for what you're wanting to do. Yes, it's against code for such a wire to be protected by a breaker or switch above 15A, but the wire itself is most likely rated to 20A or maybe even 25A. Again, my personal thoughts, but it's technically against code to do so. You could run 12 gauge, overkill for the load and a little more cost, but would be code compliant that way if it's getting its power off a 20A fuse/ breaker.
