Highland Center, in Southeast Iowa | There's supposed to be a Code governing how far above the cooking surface a micro is to be mounted. A lot of older kitchens have the cabinets above the stove that are too low to meet that, and then the micro gets installed under there anyway, ignoring the distance. The unit takes on a lot of heat, grease, moisture condensate and isn't able to move the air efficiently to get it out thru the duct. |
