Over the years I have discovered that "cold" is a relevant term. Where I am I consider cold to be under 0 F or below. My Wife has a friend that lives in Georgia, where I was given the nickname "Mr. Tundra" since it gets cold here in MN and to me 65F+ is warm T shirt weather.

Some stuff like Brussell sprouts taste better after a frost since they gain sugars. Hot temps they produce more compounds that make them very bitter.
