South Central MN | Centerpoint is great software, but it is not easy software.
It is very easy to use a feature/wizard in a way other than what the designers intended, and that will leave errors in your books that are undetectable until you do a deep dive. I used it for maybe 7 years, and my dad has used it for close to 25.
I dropped it for xero 2 years ago and have been much happier. Xero has much better data import which makes data entry much easier and quicker. My books stay far more up to date and accurate than they ever were with Centerpoint. Sometimes simpler is better, and I'd wager a vast majority of farmers would fall into that group.
I've been trying the Figured add-on to xero for analysis & forecasting. I've been at that for a year or so now and I'm disappointed so far. The software was designed in New Zealand, and their work flow & reports do not match well with what we do in the US. I don't feel as though I'm getting reliable or useful data out of it.
I though traction was stupidly expensive for what you're getting
