NW Iowa | I used Vics for a year and a half religiously but the fungus never got better. My sister in law who works for a podiatrist recommended it. Now I'm using some anti-fungal stuff in a small bottle with a brush inside. I've been applying it morning and night. I've used a half bottle now and some of the fungus buildup under the nail is getting soft and flaky enough for me to dig it out from under the nail. I will probably need to use this stuff for the rest of my life. I did use the prescription pill a couple years ago and the pill did get rid of the fungus but I didn't like using something that might damage the liver. My doc said in all the years he has been a doc he has seen only one person have a liver problem from this pill. That person had an underlying problem with the liver to begin with. | |
