| Went the oral meds route....2 x...Dr said no more....it didn't cure it. Tried various OTC topical stuff....some of it pricey also Vics, Tea Tree Oil...etc. Had the best luck with cheapest generic brush on stuff (Equate brand Antifungal Liquid) Tolnaftate. It does take time and persistence. Took about a year. Important to keep nails trimmed....apply it around the edges is most important. It doesn't go thru your nail, but needs to get underneath to kill the fungus. Eventually my nail grew out. Warning...it will likely come back. | |
