Southwestern Minnesota | My mom had this problem. She saw the podiatrist and tried some solution to brush on and take care of it. It did not work. She eventually had both big toenails removed. That did take care of it. A rather painful procedure, but it worked. The podiatrist said the reason that other treatments may not work is that there isn't a lot of circulation under the toe nail to get a systemic or topical product to work well. | |
