north central Ohio | It is no secret the government has been highly inefficient for at least a century now. Just look at the bills and all the added pork over the years. They want to cut staff but some staff may need to be reassigned in audit capacity to find wasteful money and miss appropriated funds. I do think it is a bunch of smoke too as how can Musk and a few guys go through a government our size that fast. Just like saving a billion/year letting go 2,000,000 workers. The math doesn’t add up. Good to make cuts that are needed but they may be lying about the savings. I don’t doubt the pork on these bills wasn’t used as intended. Wouldn’t be surprised if money led back to the originator of the pork.
