north-central Indiana west of Fulton | It was a kind of a big deal because it was the first new tractor from the combined company. I’m a red guy that had a few white Case before Case bought out IH, so it was a win/win for me. Didn’t consider it particularly more advanced than JD, but I never had a JD….just my feeling. The hood that raises up came on the previous Case and was an advanced feature, and the muffler to the side and not out of the hood was great. We didn’t see many real close to our farm for awhile. We got a 7120 in ‘90, and it was one of the earliest in the community. Still have it and 2 other boxcars, with no intentions of trading them.
