Iowa | Here’s a better question: what if there’s NO fraud or abuse?
Then we’re totally screwed. If there’s really nothing to cut, and all the spending is legit/needed where do we go from here? 36 trillion in the hole - 25 years ago it was around 4? Social security to start running a constant deficit in less than 10 years - and that lockbox that had ALL those dollars put in in - yeah it’s filled with IOU’s from the same people who ran up the debt.
Doesn’t matter what “team” you think you’re on, you better hope they find real stuff, and it adds up to big numbers or the ship is going down - fast.
