That’s the laugh of the day. Saying JD copied the Magnum with the 8000 series is like saying CIH copied the JD 40 series with the Magnums. Want to know who copied who? How about the MX series that came out after the 8000 series. Those two lineups have more in common then a Magnum and any JD tractor.
I remember going to a farm show in about 2000 and the Case IH booth was saying the 8000's would never last because the engine is part of the frame. Wonder how that panned out and if any current models of tractors use the engine as a frame? hmmmmm |
