 nebraska | If you would apply Humic Acid before you plant your oats, I can assure you, you will be happy. One of our growers applied 40# of N, compared to 120# the previous year, and 80# of one of our products and they increased their production by almost twice the amount of bales per acre. They went from 2.7 bales per acre to 5.9 bales per acre. The oat stems were the size of a pencil, and they were solid...not hollow. And, the heads on the plants were about 3/4 covering a regular 8.5"x11" piece of paper. If you make the soil healthy, you will be rewarded! It's way more than just N, P and K!
