I never saw what the big woop was about the magnums. We leased a 7140 for a few months before we ended up buying a 4955. The 7140 didn't turn very tight and just seemed a bit clumsier. Not a bad tractor, the 4955 just seemed so much nicer and we were used to deeres so the familiarity probably had a lot to do with it. We also leased a 200 hp agco white fwd and we actually liked it better than the magnum in a lot of ways. It also didn't turn well. The 4955 didn't turn near as well as an 8000 but it was still markedly better than the other 2. We ended up swapping the front tires side to side on the white when we weren't row cropping and that made it fun to drive.
