Reelsville, IN | Is is possible to raise high quality oats in the I-70 corridor. It seems to be the common concensus that good oats have to come from the northern states and Canada. I use a lot of oats in my feeds and would be great if I could raise them myself rather than buying at the feed mill. If I could raise high quality oats I could most likely market through our local feed mill as well. Goal would be to raise near 100 bushel oats with test weight in high 30's to 40. | |
