Western Oregon | They built one here with A&W 10 years ago, we went in, stunk so bad I walked out. There are still 2 of the old drive-ins. I was told they use the Canadian recipes, different food all together. I will get a burger there if we go by, onion rings and a root beer in a frosted glass. Brings back memories. We don't eat deep fried anymore so seldom stop now. Burgers were never the best, root beer is. Never was a fan of deep fried chicken. Grandma could make good fried chicken with a little oil in a cast iron pan, no breading. I like a whole baked chicken in oven best but I only eat breast meat. I bake a chicken breast side down for 1 hour, turn over just to brown the other side....James | |
