Subject: Lowest risk of frost

West-Central Missouri
Depending on how much rain we get. I may be starting planting soybeans by about April 5.
I have 3 options to plant into
1. Cover Crop
3. Cornstalks
4. Soybean stubble.

Which is the most resistant to freeze injury on growing soybeans?

Also which will have the warmest soil? Or do you prefer to plant into cooler soil as it delays emergence/ slows down seedling disease?
