If strictly looking for just a clean grass strip to keep mowed up, a shredder on a skid steer, followed by spraying the area to keep them from growing back would be the quickest and cheapest. If you're wanting to farm it, then you'll need to spend some time plucking with an excavator, but even then, with small saplings like that, a bunch will be ripped apart or a lot of pot holes from grabbing dirt.
