I would say that technically they are right about they do own the data and don't have to show it to you if they choose not to, but I would also tell them to pound sand on that much over-application. If it is an odd shaped, small field with all kinds of nooks and such, might be reasonable to expect up to 10% overlap if spun on. If it is a fairly square field with it being that large, I would say your 95 acres should have been close.


We have some fields spreading dry with spinner spreader on 70’ center 20% over isn’t out of line. Odd shaped fields overlap is very real. Some places charge acres covered and others will use FSA or boundary maps. Something you have to ask ahead of time.
