Many years ago the concensus of many farm management "experts" was that you were better off renting land than buying. We see how that worked out. Will the same hold true for land purchased now when revisited 20 or more years from now?
Extreme example I know of is for land purchased in the early 70's where the yearly cash rent per acre now is equal to the purchase price.
