Since you are already farming it you just as well buy it.
For me, most of the work is getting the machery around.
If you are doing ten million a year in cattle, you should have the resources to make it work and still cut back on labor, if you have to.
I am 62 and was offered a problem farm to rent and am thinking on it.
If your son likes to work on the farm, he could probably still help while going to school.
If he works locally after he graduates, he could probably still do most of the cattle.
