east central iowa | using gfx since 2019. on oil use needed. it really doesn't need any flow its just pressure. so it can work on any old low flow tractor. its more reliable than any air cylinders I've used on other planters. the best feature is that it rides independently of the row unit so seed placement is better do to smoother unit ride. and when you cross a washout it just falls in and rides out with no affect on row unit. big advantage. the unit mounted cleaners when crossing a washout will fall in and plow out. causes lots of unit vibration and seed placement suffers. down side to gfx is cost. really its the only downside. jmho | |
