According to the Cub announcers, some players tend to hit the ball a little closer to the trademark, others a little closer to the end.
Putting more wood in the "sweet spot" of the bat for those players may give them an advantage.
Cub left fielder is a switch hitter, he said he hits the ball closer to the end of the bat when batting right-handed than when he bats left. |
