Plant corn after chopping rye silage every yr have for years.
Last yr got 11.5 ton rye silage and 216 bu corn. Do the math it'd take 290 bu corn to compete. Plant in last week of May usually. 104 day corn.

Ill keep planting corn behind rye.


Ahay- you’re under a pivot, correct, or is this dry land rotation?
