Funny thing about lumber. Was just in Minot. Walked through Menards and Jome depot. After exchange rate factored in, ALL lumber is 40% to 50% more in USA. I've never seen that.
Redid my place between 2008 and 2010. I sourced a pile of stuff in Minot back then. I saved 40% easy.
We have stopped shopping in the US , with exchange rates ,border fees it costs more for most everything in CDN,. $$ in US than can be bought at home |
