| All reports bad for the 07 wheat crop. Too dry to come up, too dry to grow in the Fall, too cold in the Spring, short stocks, too wet to harvest. Basically all bad. Results? Wheat pushed higher as the crop was harvested with the price going up a total of 1.25 per bu. here. No question the market was wrong before harvest.
Now, the 07 corn crop? Early dry, middle dry, reports of some rain, lots of acres in the wrong places, crop not finished . Are we where we need to be on price? Could we see a repeat of the wheat market?
Too early for any kind of reporting on soybeans. Late Summer rains determine yield on beans. Not putting my dog in that hunt yet.
