No, it's more like the phone company deciding who and when you can call, and what you can say.
If big tech wants to be an exempt communication medium like the phone company that's alright, but then we need to let everyone talk. Phone company doesn't stop your call when you say something they don't like.
If they want to be a biased communication medium that's alright, but then they need to be liable for that decision and broken up into smaller companies we can choose from.
Big Tech can be either a communication medium with equal free speech like the phone company, or a content provider with censorship and rules like a newspaper. In which case we have many choices and they are liable for their content.
It's one or the other.
