There is two ways of handling this.

Government regulation, or get off the Amazon, Twitter,Facebook teat.

I fail to understand how we as a society fear not using these companies. It’s weird.


They probably said the same thing when Bell telephone was calling the shots. "We got along just fine before the telephone" "You don't need a telephone to live" "You can still write a letter"

History always repeats itself.

Twitter and facebook are just newer methods of communicating. The irony of people saying "I'm not going on facebook or twitter" is NewAgtalk is just another electronic way of communicating. At any time the moderators or owners of the site can remove anyone for any reason. And NewAgtalk has a web hosting service, just like a certain company that competes with Twitter. And NewAgtalk's webhosting service could cancel NewAgtalk's website at any time for any reason as well. The internet has always been self policed. But I feel those days may end in the coming decades.

China's internet is not self policed. The CCP decides what you can access, when you can access it and how. "The great chinese firewall"
