Southern MN | Not a huge sports fan but always enjoyed flipping through watching the end of games. Turned on a basketball game when the season restarted to see a guy making 50 million a year wearing the word equality across the back of his jersey. Am for equal rights for all but the hypocrisy of seeing a guy making this much money in a league that is definitely not representative of the general population wear the Jersey seemed like hypocrisy beyond belief, kind of like the women’s basketball team wearing the name in honor of a convicted rapist. Haven’t watched a minute of a sporting event since, and may never again. Maybe when the Vikings reach the Super Bowl. | |
