Hey triple 5 , this is a cloudy area , I think that needs clarification. My son farms with me , has his own land and files his own 1040 on what he makes on his grandmother’s, 500 acres , he rents . Through depreciation, he had a loss in 2019 , has no employees, so he did not qualify to file on the first round . I think he can now file , because of the new rules and therefore be allowed to file for round 2.That is what I understand but I could be wrong. Talked to a couple bankers today , they know less than anyone on this sight .
