If you do, that is totally your right, just like its the right for anyone to do with their money/assets whatever they like, without government confiscation. If inheritance should be taxed fully, any gift to one's kids at any time should be taxed fully, there is truly no difference. The only difference a person could argue is that the value doesn't hit some arbitrary level selected by some arbitrary person. | |
